Request for a letter of support — Towne Twin Village partnership.

Email to send to your SAHA point of contact on the Towne Twin Village project. Goal: obtain a one-page letter of support on SAHA letterhead describing the partnership and the work Noon delivered. This letter goes in every future grant package as institutional validation.

Body — email text

[Name],

I wanted to follow up on the Towne Twin Village work and ask for your help on a piece of paperwork that would mean a lot for the next phase of Noon Systems Corporation's operations.

Noon is now operating as a Texas Public Benefit Corporation (formed 2025), with a mandate to build and document ecological infrastructure projects at the kind of scale and public-benefit register that the Towne Twin work represents. As we begin grant-pursuit operations — local agency demonstrations, federal stormwater and urban-forestry programs, and foundation partnerships — institutional letters of support from partners like SAHA are one of the highest-leverage things a reviewer wants to see in a proposal package.

Would you be willing to draft (or sign off on a draft I send you) a one-page letter on SAHA letterhead describing the Towne Twin Village partnership and the scope of the install Noon delivered? It would cover: the dates of engagement, the nature of the partnership, the scope of work installed (central catchment + aqueduct distribution, native canopy planting, PV canopy and Castellum storage, gravity-fed irrigation), and SAHA's assessment of the working relationship.

To make it as easy as possible, I've drafted suggested text below that you can adapt, modify, or use verbatim. If you'd rather write your own, that's of course welcome — the institutional voice from SAHA is what matters more than any specific phrasing.

I'd be grateful for whatever you can do here. Even a one-paragraph note on letterhead would be enormously useful.

Thank you, as always, for the partnership on Towne Twin and for everything SAHA does for the city.

Suggested text — SAHA letter of support.

Text below is drafted in institutional voice. Edit freely. Goal: brevity (one page), specificity (dates and scope), and a sentence the funder can quote.

To whom it may concern:

This letter is provided in support of Noon Systems Corporation, a Texas Public Benefit Corporation operating ecological-infrastructure projects in the San Antonio metropolitan area.

The San Antonio Housing Authority engaged with the principals of Noon Systems Corporation on the development of ecological infrastructure at the Towne Twin Village community. The scope of that engagement included central rainwater catchment and aqueduct distribution across the site, native canopy and perennial planting, photovoltaic canopy integrated with battery storage for outdoor power, and gravity-fed irrigation tied to the catchment system. The infrastructure was sized to deliver both immediate amenity for residents — shade, gathering space, food-line plantings — and long-term ecological benefit at the site and watershed level.

Throughout that engagement, the Noon principals operated with a level of design discipline, ecological literacy, and documentation rigor that is uncommon in residential and small-commercial landscape contracting. Their willingness to source and publish their methodology — work that is now visible to the broader San Antonio community through their public knowledge library at noon.bio/source — reflects an institutional posture aligned with public-benefit mission.

The San Antonio Housing Authority looks forward to continued collaboration with Noon Systems Corporation on projects where ecological infrastructure, resident amenity, and measurable public benefit are core to the program.

Please feel free to contact me at the address below for any further information.

Respectfully,

Notes for the letter: Public-benefit grant reviewers want concrete: dates, scope, names. The two paragraphs in the middle of the letter (engagement description + assessment of operating discipline) are the ones reviewers actually read. If SAHA wants to shorten further, those two are the keepers.
