§ Why fogging stops working

Spray companies kill the pests and the predators.

Fogging trucks knock out adult mosquitoes for about 48 hours. The pyrethroid hits every flying insect — bees, butterflies, lacewings, the dragonflies that eat mosquito larvae. Mosquitoes lay 100-300 eggs at a time and reach adulthood in 10 days. Their predators take a full season to recover. So the second-week population is often higher than week one. Then the homeowner schedules another fog.

The trap

Conventional spraying = perpetual contract.

Once the predators are gone, the property can't defend itself. You're stuck paying for treatment every 3-4 weeks, forever. That's the business model.

The Noon approach

Organic treatment compounds.

Standing water gets fixed. BTI runs in the water that can't be drained. Bats, dragonflies, predator wasps come back. By week 6 the property is doing the work. One main visit per season.

§ What's actually included

Real treatment. Not a spray-and-leave.

Every property gets the full protocol on day one. You don't pay extra for the parts that matter most.

01

Standing-water audit.

Every saucer, gutter, tarp, low spot, A/C drip, French drain outlet, dog bowl. Mapped, photographed, addressed. This is the work — and the single biggest lever.

02

BTI biological larvicide.

Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis dunks in unavoidable water — rain barrels, fountains, low spots. Kills only mosquito and fungus gnat larvae. Refresh supplies left with you.

03

Fire ant orange-oil drench.

1.5 oz cold-pressed orange oil + castile soap, slowly into the mound. Kills the visible colony in 24-48 hours. Native ants survive. We treat every mound on the property.

04

Predator habitat install.

Bat box at 12-15 ft (one bat eats 1,000 mosquitoes per night). Dragonfly water feature spec. Purple martin spec if your lot fits. Built once. Earns out every summer after.

05

Beneficial nematodes.

Steinernema feltiae applied property-wide at dusk to moist soil. Microscopic, harmless to plants and pets. Hunts fire ant larvae underground for six weeks per application.

06

Written treatment plan.

Yours to keep. What we did, what you should watch for, when to refresh the BTI dunks yourself, and when to call us back. Plain English. No upsell trap.

The 7-point mosquito audit · Walk this in 20 min.

  1. Saucers under every potted plant. Tip them. Replace with gravel saucers if you can.
  2. Gutters and downspout corners. Clogged gutters are the #1 cause of structural mosquitoes. Clear them today.
  3. A/C drip pan and condensate line. Most A/C units pool water somewhere visible — usually the side yard. Check it.
  4. Toys, buckets, tarps, wheelbarrows. Anything that catches water and stays out overnight. Flip them.
  5. Dog bowls left outside. Empty and refill daily — even if Fido drinks from it.
  6. Low spots after rain. Walk the property after the next storm. Mark every spot still holding water at hour 24.
  7. Hidden water you forgot about. Decorative urn, kiddie pool, broken birdbath, gutter extension end. Any one of these can breed thousands.

Find more than 3? Book a Site Read — we'll handle it in one visit and install the predator habitat that keeps it from coming back.

§ Common questions

What people actually ask.

Does organic mosquito control actually work?
Yes — when it treats the root cause. About 70% of mosquito reduction comes from removing standing water and adding biological predators. Synthetic foggers kill adults for 48 hours, then the population rebounds — without their predators. Organic protocols build long-term suppression by changing the ecology.
Is the treatment safe for pets, kids, and bees?
Yes. BTI (Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis) is a soil bacterium that kills only mosquito and fungus gnat larvae. Orange oil for fire ants is cold-pressed citrus oil. Beneficial nematodes are microscopic soil roundworms harmless to anything but pest larvae. Nothing we use harms pets, kids, pollinators, or beneficial insects.
How long until I notice a difference?
Standing-water elimination is immediate. BTI activates within 24 hours. Visible fire ant mounds die in 24-48 hours from the orange-oil drench. Property-wide pressure drops 70%+ by week 6 as predator habitat establishes. Fogging gives you 48 hours of relief. Organic gives you a season.
Do I need a recurring contract?
No. Most properties only need one main treatment per season. We leave you BTI refill supplies and a written protocol. If pressure climbs back, you call us. Estate properties sometimes opt into a seasonal maintenance plan — that's optional, not standard.
What areas do you serve?
San Antonio, Boerne, Bulverde, Helotes, Spring Branch, Canyon Lake, Fair Oaks Ranch, Alamo Heights, Olmos Park, and the broader Texas Hill Country. If you're nearby and we haven't listed your city, call us — we travel for the right project.
What if I have a special situation — a pond, a chicken coop, a pool?
Those are exactly the situations the Site Read is for. Ponds need different BTI dosing. Chicken coops can stay clean with the right mulch protocol. Pool overflow is its own audit. We address each on the property walk.
