Rock rose (Pavonia) opens a fresh set of little pink hibiscus flowers every single morning, spring through fall, and closes them by dusk — generosity on a daily schedule, asking nothing but sun and rock. It reseeds, but politely, the way a good guest leaves you a few of something rather than the whole garden. An easy native win. 🌸
