SAWS will pay up to $300 to convert a portion of your lawn to a drought-tolerant landscape, provided the plant palette comes from their approved list and you get pre-approval before the work. How to use them
Pre-approval is the trap. SAWS will not retroactively rebate. Apply, get approved, then convert. Combine with the Irrigation Design Rebate (up to $400) if you're upgrading drip at the same time — they stack. Plant list is restrictive; most ornamental natives don't qualify but most working natives do.
