Nothing is drawn until the ground is known. For an office the ground is the week: who calls, what gets written, what gets paid, what the crew brings home.

One brand book, one money book, one page for the day. Every agent reads them before it works and writes back what it learns: each thing in its place, all of it drawing on the same ground, as in a bed planted well.

Agents with one job each, a commander over them, a room where they talk on your screen, and an app for the crew. Built by the studio that pours the concrete.

Noon’s work is where people and ground meet: what a place does to the people in it. An office is a place too, and the one nobody designs.

The parts

The agents

One job each: the books, the website, the letters, the grants, the posts, the crew’s app, the day. Each has a name, so you call it by name.

The commander

One agent above the rest. It briefs the others with your direction, quoted and dated, follows up, and sends back work that misses it.

The room

Where the agents talk to each other, on your screen. Every message is one line in that agent’s colour. Say an agent’s name and you are in the conversation.

The books

What every agent reads before it works, and writes back to after.

Every bill and payment, the company’s apart from the owner’s, and a brief each morning.
The day
One page a morning. Each agent writes its own part.
The field app
