Field Filmmaker
Noon designs and builds fountains, courtyards and planted grounds in cast concrete, limestone and Texas natives, and films the work from scan to pour. We need someone with a camera on site when it happens.
- Location
- San Antonio, TX, and Hill Country sites.
- Pay
- $15 to $22 an hour, by skill
- Type
- Part-time, by the shoot: pour days, builds and land days, 8 to 20 hours a week.
01What you'll do
- Film pour days, builds and community land days: wide, close, time-lapse and from the air
- Shoot to a short shot list, and catch what isn't on it
- Send the day's footage, sorted and named, the same night
- Cut quick Reels from the day; the studio cuts the long films
- Photograph finished work for the portfolio
02What we're looking for
- A reel or an Instagram that shows you can see
- Phone or camera, at home with a gimbal; drone and FAA Part 107 a plus
- Up early, steady in heat and dust, careful around wet concrete and machines
- Spanish is a plus
03What we offer
- $15 to $22 an hour, by skill
- Your footage in Noon's films and on its channels
- Shoots most people never see: a 28-foot slab poured and finished in one morning
04How Noon teaches
Noon provides education: an expert-driven model of paid internships and training on real work, so people become skilled, excellent and modern in their trade. The crew's organics course is one part of it.
To apply: send a link to your reel or three clips, with one line on each. Email hello@noon.bio or text 210-309-2684.
