Junior Designer
Noon designs and builds fountains, courtyards and planted grounds in cast concrete, limestone and Texas natives. We scan the ground by LiDAR, draw it in CAD to the inch, and build it the way it was drawn. We need a junior designer to help turn site scans into finished drawings.

- San Antonio, TX. Studio and site.
- Pay
- $18 to $25 an hour, by skill
- Type
- Part-time, 15 to 25 hours a week, with room to grow.
01What you'll do
- Draft site plans, sections and details in AutoCAD from LiDAR scans and site measurements
- Build planting plans and palettes: Texas natives and adapted plants, chosen by leaf, form and texture
- Make presentation sheets and renderings for clients
- Measure sites and photograph the work, before and after
- Keep drawing sets and plant lists in order for the field crew
02What we're looking for
- Studying or recently graduated in landscape architecture, architecture, horticulture or design, or a portfolio that shows the same
- AutoCAD, Vectorworks or Rhino, and Photoshop; SketchUp, Lumion or Twinmotion a plus
- An eye for line, material and plants
- Works from a short list without being chased, and checks their own work
- Spanish is a plus
