Plant Technician
Noon designs and builds fountains, courtyards and planted grounds in cast concrete, limestone and Texas natives. We need a plant technician to keep our planted grounds thriving on commercial sites from Stone Oak to Bulverde.
- Location
- San Antonio, TX. Sites run from Stone Oak to Bulverde.
- Pay
- $15 to $22 an hour, by skill
- Type
- Part-time, on a set route, Monday to Saturday as the plantings need.
01What you'll do
- Water new and established plantings by hand and by drip, on a set route from Stone Oak to Bulverde
- Check drip lines, emitters and timers; report leaks and dry spots with photos
- Plant from our planting sheets: dig, set, backfill and mulch to the drawing
- Prune, deadhead and weed by hand. No synthetic sprays on any ground we keep
- Read a planting palette: know plants by leaf, form and texture, and catch stress, pests and disease early
- Log each visit in our field app: photos, notes, what was watered and what needs attention
02What we're looking for
- Hands-on plant experience: nursery, landscape maintenance, horticulture or growing
- Knows Texas natives and adapted plants, or wants to learn them properly
- A reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license: the route runs from Stone Oak to Bulverde
- On time, every visit, and able to work alone once the route is set
- Spanish is a plus
03What we offer
- $15 to $22 an hour, by skill, with paid training
- Tools provided
- Steady part-time hours on a set route
- Gardens designed to last: natives set straight into caliche, no synthetics
