§ I

In the field.

Active this week

Three projects in active stewardship this season. The Lotus — a 28-foot concrete landmark — is complete and standing in its field of bioswales. A supportive senior community (with HFCC) is in its final stage, installing the biochar filter.

Two new Site Reads scheduled for late June — one Hill Country ranch, one urban San Antonio lot. Both came in through the triage funnel.

§ II

In draft.

Writing weekly

The Source library is publishing on a biweekly Friday cadence. Current queue:

The Field Manual first-volume manuscript is at ~30%. Targeting a 2027 release.

§ III

Reaching out.

Pitches active

Press pitches in flight to four publications — Texas Architect, Edible San Antonio, Garden Design, and the local SA print circuit. The Lotus + the KNF/organic-inputs hybrid practice is the story.

Partnership conversations underway with two Hill Country conservation organizations on watershed work. Naming when confirmed.

§ V

Bandwidth.

For new work

Currently accepting Site Reads, tactical interventions (mosquito · fire ants · drainage · soil-build), and small design-build work through the triage funnel. Larger design-build projects are scheduling 4-6 weeks out.

What is a /now page?

A snapshot. Refreshed each season.

Inspired by Derek Sivers' /now page movement. The idea: instead of a static "About" page, share what you're actually doing this month or season. It's the honest counterweight to the rest of the marketing chrome.

This page updates each quarter (or sooner) as projects ship, articles land, and the bench rotates.
